The organization acts as a governing body for international competitions and specifies rules, regulations, and standards for equipment and facility usage. With over 200 national federations holding memberships, FIBA has earned tremendous popularity through its World Basketball Championships and is now at the forefront of the NBA’s 3 on 3 Hoop it Up events.

is the governing body of basketball in Spain. The federation is a subdivision of FIBA’s Europe division. FEB’s range extends from youth girls and boys to the men’s and women’s national leagues.
